Envin Scientific use our many years of industry experience and technical expertise to develop gas monitoring and control products that meet our customers’ needs and adhere to industry standards. Our products can detect hazardous gases quickly, alerting you to the presence of combustible gas, oxygen depletion and other gas hazards at the earliest opportunity.
These include equipment produced to the specific requirements of our clients, for gas detector and monitoring applications, and to sound the alarm when detected levels are above safe limits, or where toxic gases are present.
Some of the gases that these systems can detect include:
– Carbon Dioxide
– Carbon Monoxide
– LPG
– Ozone
– Refrigerant gases
We have a particular specialism in ozone monitoring and control devices, and we can also supply temperature and humidity sensors, as well as gas sensor modules.
You’ll find more information about some of these systems below, so scroll down to read more or visit any of the pages in this section of the website for product datasheets.
Ozone Handheld Monitors and Sensors
Handheld ozone monitors and sensors make it easy to detect ozone levels wherever you need to, even in the absence of a mains electricity supply.
Envin Scientific’s handheld ozone monitor is a portable gas detector, equipped with a rechargeable battery so you can use it anywhere – simply remove the bottom-right rubber grip to uncover the charging port. These detectors are suitable on the move, or in confined spaces where fitting a fixed unit is not ideal.
The device has a default alarm setting of 180 ppb ambient ozone, but this can be adjusted anywhere up to 250 ppb to suit your application.
In use, if the ambient ozone level detected is greater than the alarm setting, the device will sound an audible alarm and light an LED for both an audio and visual warning.
The ozone sensor is pre-calibrated during manufacture but can also be replaced on-site so there is no need to return the detector unit to the factory when the sensor needs changing.
Compact, convenient and rugged, with a full automatic system check on every start-up to give you total confidence every time you switch it on.
Ozone Mains Monitors and Sensors
Our mains-powered ozone monitors and sensors can be wall-mounted so that they provide continual in situ ozone detection in critical environments.
Each fixed gas detector is fitted with power, warning and alarm LEDs, as well as a 90 dB alarm sounder that is activated if ozone levels rise above both the warning and alarm levels.
As standard these two levels are set at 100 ppb and 180 ppb but like our handheld sensors, they can be adjusted to anywhere up to 250 ppb as required.
The alarm state can also activate an internal relay circuit, providing a volt-free or 12V direct current output to allow the ozone monitor to act as a switch for other alarm equipment.
As with the handheld monitor, our mains-powered ozone monitors run a system check on start-up, signified by illuminating the LEDs, after which the LEDs will turn off (except the power light) and ozone monitoring will begin.
Handheld Ozone Generator
If you need to test the condition of the sensor inside your ozone monitor or any other component in the system, we also supply handheld ozone generators.
These are battery-operated so they are highly portable and can be used to test all of your wall-mounted and portable ozone sensors.
Like the handheld ozone detectors, the batteries in the handheld ozone generator are rechargeable, making it even easier to keep sufficient power in the device for periodic testing.
